Jubilee Fever

As you may know, from the 2nd to the 5th of June, the UK will soon be celebrating the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II. Marking 60 years since her accession to the throne upon the death of her father, King George VI, on 6 February 1952.

Queen Victoria, who reigned from 20 June 1837 until her death 22 January 1901, remains the only British Monarch to have celebrated a Diamond Jubilee.

To mark this special occasion in our history, I have decided to create some Jubilee dragons. All the dragons are red and blue as symbolised on the British flag, the Union Jack and decorated with the traditional patriotic colours of red, white and blue.

This is Queenie, one of a series of Jubilee dragons. As you can see she makes a lovely cake topper.

This little dragon is Lillibet, which was the Queen's nickname growing up.

Jack, he's a rather proud patriotic dragon.

Finally, Jubilee. A very happy little dragon.
